Here is a journal of my jaw surgery experience in hopes to enlighten those who plan to go under the knife. After 3 1/2 years in braces I am having my lower jaw moved forward to close my large overbite and slight cross bite. As you can see, when I bite down, you cannot see my bottom teeth and I also need to roll my tounge back in my mouth.
